SiteCreative developed the master plan to enhance the character of the site while introducing new features, including the entry sequence for a new carriage house, woodland courtyard, and locating a new pool and pool house on the site. The pool area was carefully sited to maximize solar orientation, views and topography, while fitting within tight parameters between wetland setbacks and utility corridors. The final plan developed the pool area as a destination, creating a new draw to this corner of the property. Strong linear walls extend from the structures and engage the existing topography, connecting structure and landscape. Portions of the existing lawn will be allowed to return to meadow, reinforcing the soothing rural character of this site.
